The Golden Ridge Animal Farm is family owned and always has been. Golden Ridge has been running as a children’s farm for 47 Years! It was owned and run by the Nye Family since the very beginning after John and Elke Nye took over the farm when they became sick of living and working in the city. Both John and Elke grew up farming and had animals in their heart, so this was the perfect way of having a small farm close to the city doing the work they loved. 

15 years later one of their daughters Alisa Nye had to leave high school and help out running the farm as their mother fell sick. Alisa Nye has been running the farm since she was 17 and has done tremendous work for the community by teaching kids all about animals and providing a wonderful family fun day out! 

The Golden Ridge Animal Farm offers 2 hour general visit sessions along with catered and BYO parties, a full on Digger zone for the kids, school visits, vacation care along with catering for disability groups. 

Their interactive approach to introducing farm animals to their visitors make them a stand out from other farms and zoos in Sydney. They strive to create a fun and safe environment for all their visitors! 

They also offer the biggest and best mobile animal farm in Sydney! Along with gifts cards and vouchers for special experience gifts!
